I don't think I ever truly appreciated the art that is dentistry until I came to Dr. Marmor. She is an absolute MAGICIAN at what she does. After having a few less-than-ethical experiences with other dentists around town, I came to Dr. Marmor desperate for help assessing what I needed to have done. Her conservative approach, honesty, and no-pressure attitude instantly made her a doctor that I could trust. I've had several procedures done now with her, and each time has been absolutely flawless, painless, and swift. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses are perfectly professional and experts at what they do. So thankful to have found Dr. Marmor - she is simply the best!!

The office is super clean, modern, and efficient... Dr. Marmor is simply the best! Not only is she thorough and informative throughout the appointment, she is also super friendly and quite hilarious. Not to mention, easy on the eyes ;)
I highly recommend her for any and all of your dentistry needs!

If you go to Dr. Marmor, you should have your head examined -- FOR GENIUS. (And also maybe for cavities and gum recession.) She's incredibly efficient and frank while also being very funny and charming. Sounds impossible? Especially in a dentist? Guess again. Dr. Marmor is so good at her job that even odontophobics (a real word) will look forward to their next appointments.

I never knew dentists could be hilarious, cool, and good at what at they do until I met Dr. Marmor. She does beyond a great job and (unlike every other dentist I've seen over the years) doesn't push for any unnecessary work. Plus, her team and office make the experience even more pleasurable. After just one visit, I want her to be my best friend and now look forward to going to the dentist!!

Dr Marmor is the best dentist I've ever had. Now, I haven't had more than 5 dentists in my lifetime, and never enjoyed going to the dentists and my teeth suffered. Dr Marmor is hands down the most professional, courteous and kind dentist I've ever found. She did my work, (crown/fillings) gently, timely all the while with a smile on her face. She appears to have a lovely working relationship with her dental assistants and the whole atmosphere is relaxed yet top tier when it comes to care. I plan on going back asap and getting the rest of my work done. Do yourself a favor and go too, the sooner the better.

I'm a long time Yelp lurker but never had an official account or wrote any reviews. After a visit to Dr. Marmor's office I decided to sign up for one so I could give her office the proper 5-star review it deserves!
I recently got a new dental plan and found Dr. Marmor on the plan's iphone app. Her office on San Vicente is close to where I live and personally I'm more comfortable with a female doctor. I called and the front desk lady was super nice, told me Dr. Marmor was out of town till later that week, and according to her, Dr. M is only at this location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I was able to get an appointment that same week for a cleaning and overall check-up. They also checked with me on the phone to see if there's any specific dental problems that were bothering me, and (I guess) added notes to my appointment.
The day of my appointment, I went in and the front desk lady was already expecting me, asked me to fill out a new patient form, and I was greeted by Dr. Marmor very soon after that. She is really nice and easy-going in person, which calmed me right away since I hadn't seen a dentist IN YEARS and was really nervous about this appointment. She checked my problem area first and comforted me that things were not as bad as I thought, and I could totally wait till after my pregnancy to have it taken care of. She didn't push me to get any extra work done, but also expressed her willingness to accommodate my needs if, I insisted on getting it taken care of right away.
After deciding to wait it out, she went ahead with my cleaning. Let's be honest, since it had been so long since my last cleaning, I knew what I was getting myself into going in. It was just not going to be a pleasant experience. But Dr. Marmor moved really fast and was talking to me most of the time to keep me relaxed, like telling me what she was doing, and chatting with me about my dental hygiene routine. She didn't judge me and instead just showed me how certain things should be done. Before I left Dr. Marmor and her front desk staff also encouraged me to schedule my next cleaning since I get an extra complimentary service with my insurance when pregnant. I left her office clean, worry-free, and not in pain at all!
Overall it was the best dentist experience I've ever had. Great doctor and very friendly and courteous office staff. I for one will not be dreading my next dentist appointment for sure! :)<

Hands down the best dentist I've ever had. Dr Marmor is the first dentist I've ever had who spent time with me and did my actual cleaning. I'm accustomed to having a hygenist clean my teeth and then the dentist will spend - maybe - two to three minutes with me. Dr Marmor was there the entire time, she did all the work herself and took the time to discuss some of the issues she found and options for dealing with them. She was extremely friendly, funny and has a great bedside manner. Her practice is state of the art, modern and located in a beautiful part of town. The experience with the staff was top notch as well and I was treated with "white gloves" the entire time. It's so refreshing to actually have such a pleasant and positive experience at a dentist. I never need go anywhere else. I wish all medical professionals were this good. I highly recommend Dr Marmor and her practice.
